Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa
Allows non-EU/EEA nationals who work remotely for employers or clients located outside Cyprus to reside in Cyprus for up to 1 year, renewable for a further 2 years (3 years total). Applicants must demonstrate a minimum monthly net income of EUR 3,500. The scheme operates under a quota of 500 permits. Family members may accompany the holder but may not work in Cyprus.

Process Steps

Enter Cyprus
Enter Cyprus using a valid visa or under a visa-free arrangement. The Digital Nomad Visa is granted as a residence permit after arrival, not as a pre-entry visa.

Gather documents
Collect all required documents: valid passport, proof of remote employment or client contracts, bank statements or payslips showing at least EUR 3,500 net monthly income, health insurance, criminal record certificates, and proof of accommodation.

Submit application in Nicosia
Within 3 months of arrival in Cyprus, submit the completed application form together with all required documents at the Migration Department headquarters in Nicosia. Pay the applicable fee.

Provide biometric data
Attend in person to provide biometric data (photo and fingerprints) and signature as required for the residence permit card.

Receive residence permit
Upon approval, receive the Digital Nomad residence permit card valid for 1 year.

Renew if needed
Before expiry, apply for renewal (up to 2 additional years) if you continue to meet the eligibility requirements, including the EUR 3,500 net monthly income threshold.
