EU Blue Card (Highly Skilled Workers)
Residence and work permit for highly qualified third-country nationals employed in one of three eligible sectors in Cyprus: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), pharmaceutical research, or maritime (excluding captains and ship's crew). Admission quotas for all other professions are set to zero by Ministerial Decree, meaning the scheme is in practice limited to these three sectors. The minimum gross annual salary required is EUR 43,632. Applications have been accepted since 7 July 2025.

- No statutory processing time has been published by the Cyprus Migration Department. The scheme only opened for applications on 7 July 2025 and no official processing-time commitment is available.
- Language requirement
- None for the permit itself; Greek B1/A2 may apply later for naturalisation.
