Digital Nomad Visa (Type C/D)
A long-stay visa for location-independent workers who can perform their work remotely using telecommunications technology, working for an employer, their own company, or clients registered outside Estonia. Estonia was the first country to introduce a dedicated Digital Nomad Visa.

Requirements
- Ability to work remotely independent of location via telecommunications technology
- Active employment with a company registered outside Estonia, or own company registered abroad, or freelance work for clients mostly outside Estonia
- Minimum monthly income meeting the threshold over the preceding 6 months (threshold periodically updated; recently around €3,500+ gross per month)
- Valid travel document
- Health insurance valid in Estonia/Schengen
