Self-Employed / Sole Proprietor Permit
Residence permit for self-employed persons running their own sole proprietorship in Norway. Used by independent contractors and remote workers, as Norway has no dedicated digital-nomad visa.

- Completed higher education or vocational training (3-year programme or 6 years equivalent experience)
- Own sole proprietorship (not a limited company)
- Residence in Norway necessary to operate the business
- Sufficient income from the business
- Valid passport
