Temporary Residence via Company Formation / Self-Employment (Founder/Director)

Foreigners who register and actively operate a company in BiH may apply for temporary residence on that basis. The commonly cited all-in figure of approximately 1,500 EUR represents a practitioner estimate of total commercial setup costs (notary, court registration, administrative charges, translations) — it is NOT a single published government fee. Actual entity-level court registration fees are set separately by each entity (FBiH and RS) and are substantially lower when taken alone. The residence permit itself carries a separate administrative charge. Applicants should obtain current fee schedules directly from the relevant entity court registry.

Requirements
