Graduates who completed a Master's or successfully defended a PhD in Luxembourg may stay 12 months to seek employment or create a business, then transition to an employee or self-employed permit.

Submit a written application to the Immigration Department at least 30 days before the student permit expires and pay the EUR 80 fee.
