Study Residence (pre-university and higher education)

Temporary residence on the education ground for pupils in pre-university (secondary) education and students in higher education enrolled at a Kosovo institution. Administrative tax is EUR 10; decision within 30 days.

  • Valid travel document (validity at least 3 months beyond the permit period)
  • Proof of enrollment in a Kosovo educational institution
  • For pre-university: notarised/court-verified consent of the parent or legal guardian
  • Proof of sufficient means (bank statement or notarised proof)
  • Proof of accommodation / exact residential address
  • Certificate of not being under investigation, translated into an official language
  • Health insurance
  • No entry ban to Kosovo

    Enroll

    Obtain proof of enrollment from a Kosovo educational institution.

    Assemble documents

    Gather proof of means, accommodation, translated no-investigation certificate, health insurance (plus guardian consent for pre-university).

    Apply via eKosova

    Submit the study-purpose application online and attend the DCAM appointment with biometrics.

  4. 4

    Pay tax and renew

    Pay the EUR 10 administrative tax; renew within the 30 days before expiry for each year of study.
