Seasonal Worker Permit

Determine permit type
If the seasonal work period is 90 days or less in a calendar year, the employer applies for a work permit at the Employment Service of Slovenia (ESS). If the work period will exceed 90 days, the worker or employer must apply for a single residence and work permit for seasonal work.

Gather documents
Collect the required documents: valid passport, health insurance proof, signed employment contract, and other supporting documents as required.

Submit application
For short-term permits (up to 90 days): employer submits application to ESS. For long-term single permits: apply in person at a Slovenian diplomatic mission abroad or administrative unit in Slovenia (advance appointment recommended).
